• Squick:
  • Lots of it. LOTS of it. The reason so many reviews are split on whether this book is a masterpiece of disturbing horror, or just disturbing. The one thing every single review of this book seems to agree on, is that it is disturbing.
  • Paul choking to death on his own vomit in Game's End.

  • Barbara's parents in the epilogue.
