• Big-Lipped Alligator Moment: The headers on several pages of the book have absolutely nothing to do with the chapter. For example, in the chapter where he begins forming his news team, the top of the pages read "I Invent the Triangle Offense." Ron also tends to go off on completely unrelated tangents in the middle of whatever story he's telling. Not that it's not awesome.
• Squick: The various hair products Ron used over the course of his career, which included such ingredients as lead chips, tar, lime and even semen (not that Ron seemed to realize that).
