• Awesome Music: The opening song, "I Work Alone", and the credits song "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now".
• Heartwarming Moments:
  • "What's that he's writing?" "LEGO. We build on each other."
  • The rock monster in the beginning is revealed to be pining for its baby, which Clutch mistook for a power crystal. He gives it back, even building a baby carriage to soothe it. ...and the monster gives Clutch a power crystal for his trouble.
  • Clutch's second reaction to Mallock's temptation.
  Mallock: Just give me the sword or you'll never see your father again!
  […]
  Clutch: *taps heart* I already found him.
• Moment of Awesome:
  • Prince Varen's duel with Mallock.
  Varen: Don't worry. This is my battle.
  • Clutch's defiance of the evil wizard beforehand.
• Nightmare Fuel: Mallock ordering his Skeleton Army to arise. There's no music, no dialogue at first. Just a relentless, implacable army. Slowly. Marching. With glowing red eyes.
• Tear Jerker: The team arguing (and brief consequential fallout) after they escape Mallock.
  Peg: What do you think you're doing? I was driving!
  Brick: You call that driving?!
  Bernie: It's not her fault we crashed! The wheels came loose because you left out a part!
  Brick: If we stuck to your plan, we'd still be building it!
  Bernie: Well, at least it would be done right, dummkopf!^note "Dummkopf" is German for "fool".
  Peg: Oh, at least we got away!
  Brick: That makes you happy? Running away?! I knew I couldn't trust you!
  Peg: Well, we know we can trust you to wreck everything!
• Visual Effects of Awesome:
  • The lava, in particular, is very well-done.
  • As are the energy waves Mallock releases.
  • Kinda helps that the animators of this film would later work on Puss in Boots with DreamWorks Animation.
