• Hilarious in Hindsight: Moebius' memorial statue is inscribed with the phrase "Requiescat in Pace".
• Enjoy the Story, Skip the Game: Considered the weakest of Raziel's trilogy of games from a gameplay perspective, being less groundbreaking and more linear than Soul Reaver and less-polished and ambitious than Defiance. The gameplay, while not bad, is criticised as being almost token, mainly there to string together a succession of cutscenes that advance the plot. However Soul Reaver 2 is the game where the entire story of the Legacy of Kain saga (and Raziel's character arc in particular) gets completely turned upside down.
