• Just Here for Godzilla: De Funès' unmatched comedy antics and his Ham to Ham Combats with Michel Galabru were the sole reasons French people loved watching these films.
• Sequelitis: The first film was not known to be a particular critics darling, but the last two films were particularly panned.
