Funny Moments: Judge Abramovitz at Audrey and Daniel's wedding. Or just Judge Abramovitz, periodnote very understandable upon learning that her actress, Nora Dunn, is a well-respected comedienne and veteran of The Second City and Saturday Night Live.
Judge Abramovitz: Not only do I have to put up with your fingerpointing, bickering, backstabbing and name-calling during the week, now you drag me in on the weekend too??
Values Dissonance: It's supposed to be funny and romantic that Audrey and Daniel woke up in bed together, "married." Daniel even suggests that since alcohol lowers inhibition, that this is what they secretly wanted all along. But even though it turns out to not be legally binding, they still had sex and got what they thought was a real wedding ceremony while both parties were drunk enough to barely remember it the next day. The fact that Daniel was okay with basing a marriage on incidents where consent from Audrey was murky at best may not be considered nearly as romantic by modern audiences as when it came out.
