• Alternative Character Interpretation:
  • Rachel, the second girl involved in faking allegations against Jackie. Was she regretting her involvement in lying about her former coach or was she throwing Brooke under the bus to save herself?
  • Same thing with Brooke’s mother. Did she believe her daughter was innocent in making up allegations against her former coach? Or was she slowly realizing that her daughter lied for a selfish, petty reason and her constant praise of Brooke’s talent might have contributed to Brooke having a monstrous ego?
• The Woobie: Jackie Walter. He’s framed by two of his former students to look like a pedophile and the SVU refuses to listen to him when he’s denying the accusations. He’s unable to pay for his bail and he has no one to help him out in the worst time of his life. Even though the charges are dropped by the end, his career and reputation are ruined.
