• Aluminium Christmas Trees: Many people think that Fierbinți is a fictional place.
• Fandom Rivalry:
  • With Vacanța Mare. Vacanța Mare was the original "Successful PROTV comedy with a large audience, that featured countryside life". When Las Fierbinți appeared, the Vacanța Mare fans were not pleased by it, some accusing Las Fierbinți of being a Vacanța Mare wannabe due to a similar setting and characters as Leana&Costel. Ironically, others see Las Fierbinți as a Spiritual Successor to Vacanța Mare and Radu Pietreanu recently admitted being a big fan of Las Fierbinți and also expressed his desire of being a writer or even an actor on the show.
  • With La Bloc. Both are ProTv sitcoms that satirise life in Romania. Fans argue which one was the better sitcom on the channel.
  • With the Antena 1 drama Fructul Oprit. Not only because they are on rival channels, but also because Fructul Oprit was created as a response to Las Fierbinți 's rapid surge in popularity and large audience.
  • With Mangalița and Moldovenii, 2 similar shows launched by Antena 1 and Kanal D respectively in response to Las Firbinți's success

• Germans Love David Hasselhoff: The show was apparently quite popular in Slovakia and Turkey. It spawned similar shows in both countries despite never being broadcast outside Romania.
• Momentof Awesome: Aspirina's speech at the end of "Goluța and the Monkey".
• Memetic Mutation:
  • "Da' ce-ai făcut Bobiță?"
  • "Bă ej Nebun?, Bă ej Prost?"
  • Writing something wrong so it sounds like something the characters in the show say.
