• Questionable Casting: The series has been criticized because the actors in it are all fit and nice-looking, unlike the people that usually live at real-life Argentine slums.
• Unintentionally Sympathetic: We are supposed to view Renata as an elitist bitch because she keeps saying that the 1/5-18 is a nest of drugs and criminals, and wants to keep her son away from it. Problem is, good guys notwithstanding, the 1%5-18 is a nest of drugs and criminals, as we see basically 90% of the time. And trying to keep your teenage son away from drug dealers and trigger-happy criminals and gangsters is a completely legitimate goal that any reasonable parent would share.
