• Characterization Marches On: During his initial videos he is shockingly shy and quiet on the camera. It wasn't until after doing several dozen episodes and really picking up fans that he learned how to get himself psyched up and energetic and constantly talking
• Harsher in Hindsight: 3 hours into the livestream, one of the Kerbal Space Program programmers says, "You're not allowed to let Wolfie die during the livestream."
• Hilarious in Hindsight: Kurt seemed reluctant to buzz his hair off the first time he did it for charity, but now he rocks a shaved head all the time, due to male pattern baldness.
• Tear Jerker: Wolfie's sort-of glitch death towards the end of the livestream. Kurt tries a number of different options to bring him back, nearly killing himself in the process, and seriously contemplates suicide as a last resort.
  • He even leaves Wolfie a supply chest and a sign. "Keep going west, see you @ Far Lands."
  • The video honoring Neil Armstrong is a pretty good tearjerker too.
  • Also in one FLoB episode, he talked about burying his pet turtle and at the very end you can hear him get choked up and he goes quiet for several seconds while trying to regain his composure.
