- Critical Dissonance: Kula Shaker were never critical darlings, but were pretty commercially successful in The Nineties, and have had a smaller yet devoted fanbase ever since.
- Covered Up:
- Their cover of "Hush", at least for fans of I Know What You Did Last Summer.
- Even more so for their cover of the traditional Hindu song "Govinda". While they are not the first to record that song, theirs is considered the definitive version.
- First Installment Wins: Their debut album K remains their best selling release.
- Funny Moments:
- During an interview, Crispian Mills was asked where the band's Indian sound comes from. He responded with "It comes from India."
- There was also the time he started off a concert with the proclamation "Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to kiss the Devil's arsehole!"
- Narm: "F-Bombs", which uses profanity in a way that is too similar to that of "Fuck Everything" to not be comical.
- Unintentional Uncanny Valley: The music video for "Drink Tea, For The Love Of God!", due to the Deranged Animation.
