• Accidental Innuendo: After Gordon gives Joe a verbal beatdown and the latter has a therapy session with his staff:
  Joe: I know more about fucking elk and buffalo and beef than he'll ever know.
• Signature Scene: The argument between Joe and Gordon, particularly the "Then wake up! YOU wake up!" exchange.
• The Woobie: The staff considering that their boss, Joe, is a dictator who constantly talks down to them, mistreats them, and drives away the customers that provide their livelihood. The chef is a talented guy getting hamstrung with mediocre recipes, and one of the waiters even stated that his dad wanted to strangle Joe after witnessing his son's mistreatment. It's not shocking that by the end of the two-parter, some of them eventually left the job.
