• Audience-Alienating Premise: The idea of a Romance Game about a person being bought as property has been met with quite a bit of dismay by some parts of the Voltage fandom, particularly since the company's library of romance games normally stays far to the idealistic end of the Sliding Scale of Idealism Versus Cynicism.
• Narm: We're still trying to figure out who thought that title was a good idea.
• Nightmare Fuel: An accident ends with you being sold like chattel in an illegal auction. That's bad enough. Your boss knows about it, and is complicit in it. So that's even worse. The men you've been sold to view you as an annoyance and burden at best, and for the most part only attend the auctions as a way to pass the time because they're bored. Not only are the auctions largely unnecessary, they're responsible for a lot of human misery and the LIs aren't inclined to stop any time soon - after all, it's not like anyone they know gets hurt. There's a good deal of Moral Myopia going on.
