  • Hilarious in Hindsight: As Hank buys a part for his TV, he makes a remark that the NFC team will win in a blow-out, referring to the time where the NFC teams were winning the Super Bowls, and in dominant fashion. Then came Super Bowl XXXII, which aired two weeks later, where the AFC team, the Denver Broncos, beat the NFC's Green Bay Packers.
    • For added hilarity, the ending has Troy Aikman not caring about missing the Super Bowl as they're always blow-outs, which was true for the majority of the 90s, but in the aforementioned Super Bowl, it proved to be a tight contest that ended up tying in the fourth quarter and the Broncos earning a touchdown with a bit under two minutes left to win the game.
    • And even more so, the following decade where the AFC teams would be the frequent winners, mainly the New England Patriots and Pittsburgh Steelers and any team Peyton Manning plays for (mainly the Indianapolis Colts and in the twilight of his career, the Denver Broncos).
  • Unintentional Period Piece: Hank looks for a piece to buy for his TV, lamenting once he gets it fixed, he ponders how much the NFC team will blow out the AFC team, referring to the NFC's then-winning streak of Super Bowl victories that dates back to 1984. Incidentally, two weeks after the episode aired, Super Bowl XXXII was held and the AFC team, the Denver Broncos, beat the NFC team, the Green Bay Packers, snapping the win streak.
