Anticlimax Boss: The Wraith King is said to be the most powerful of wraiths who wants to cause eternal suffering for humanity, in addition to being responsible for the death of the main character's mother, yet he's easily defeated by three newbie witches in Chapter 16. For bonus points, if no premium scenes were taken, this is his only onscreen appearance in the entire book (and the fight scene lasts not even half the chapter)note For comparison, most final battles in Choices stories last at least the majority of a chapter (with some books even having final battles that take place over the course of two chapters), and the villain is interacted with at least once prior to the Final Battle without having to spend diamonds.
Funny Moments: How do you get a witch to cry when you need her tears for a potion? Use an onion.note In Chapter 6, Kaine suggests making anti-wraith potions to help the coven get a leg up, and one of the ingredients is the tears of a witch, but no matter what the girls do, they couldn't think of anything sad enough to make either one cry. At that moment, Penny finishes peeling an onion, so Kaine tosses it to Saff. Cue the waterworks.
