- While she's following the Swordsman about, totally engrossed in his book, the Young Girl gets bored and throws a stone at the back of his head. He shows no reaction whatsoever.
- Later on she is sitting opposite him and leans forward to try and get a peek at the book. He puts his boot in her face.
- Moment of Awesome: The Black Swordsman's fight against the approaching army just barely avoids going over-the-top in terms of dramatization, beautiful, visceral visuals, and gorgeous animation. Results in one of the coolest, most fluid and epic animated "battles" of all time.
