- Contested Sequel: The Bloodwater Rebellion is perhaps one of the bands more divisive albums released with it eschewing their usual Power Metal style in favor of a more mellow rock sound with a noticeably Darker and Edgier style and lyrics.
- Tough Act to Follow: Outbound is in general considered the bands best album, so Darkness and Light had a lot to live up to with opinions mixed on how well it did.
