• Heartwarming Moments: Literally just about anything and everything having to do with the titular kitten, but particularly how he helps Rell get over his depression—that adorable little kitty may well have saved his life. No wonder everyone and their grandma wants him so badly!
• Hilarious in Hindsight: Although the two films have very similar ideas (people who dive into the criminal underworld for the sake of their adorable pets), Keanu and John Wick were developed entirely independent of each other, although it didn't take long for their friends and acquaintances to point out the similarities.
• Moe: Keanu the Kitty is so adorable.
• Moment of Awesome:
  • He had to embellish some details, but Clarence getting some hardened gangstas into George Michael is pretty impressive.
  • Similarly, when Hi-C calls his and Rell's bluff on pulling off a flip while shooting guns and asks them to prove they can, Clarence tries to see if he can do it while Rell is attempting an excuse to get them out of it - and succeeds, much to his own shock.
• Retroactive Recognition: A year later, Tiffany Haddish would have a Star-Making Role in Girls Trip.
• What Do You Mean, It's Not for Kids?: The film got this reaction from some people, mainly since the film's advertisements and posters makes it appear that the film is all about a group of gangsters trying to rescue a cute kitten. However just because it features a Cute Kitten doesn't mean it's appropriate for children. It's rated R for a reason.
