• And You Thought It Would Fail: Fans said the Martina gimmick wouldn't translate well if it was brought outside OTT - and it's likely she herself thought so initially, as she was appearing as Kazza G in other promotions for a while. Needless to say, she went to the UK, Japan and eventually Ring of Honor without so much as a dent in the fan base.
• Broken Base: While agreed to be a great wrestler, the Martina gimmick has earned some detractors (particularly when she brought the character to the UK). Some find it to be too reliant on sex jokes and crude humour, while others appreciate it for being unique (especially among women's wrestling).
• Fan Nickname: Her short-lived heel persona - as the Perky Female Minion to The Fabulous Nicky - earned her the nickname 'K-Woww'.
• Growing the Beard: The year 2016 is when Martina really took off as a character in her own right, as opposed to 'the girl' in The Lads From the Flats. It's also around the same time she became the Breakout Character, and won the first OTT Women's Championship.
• Hilarious in Hindsight:
  • She acted as a mentor to Valkyrie in CCW, where they were both babyfaces. Given that in PWU Valkyrie turned heel to become The Dragon to Katey Harvey, it seemed there wasn't much she could do after all.
  • Memes shared about her by the OTT roster, usually titled 'The World According to Karen' are especially amusing in light of the name Karen becoming a meme in and of itself.
• Hollywood Pudgy: She has been vocal about how often she's been attacked over her weight, despite not being remotely close to fat. According to her, "Fat Karen" was a backstage joke in every locker room she was in.
• Mexicans Love Speedy Gonzales: Despite the negative stereotypes the Martina gimmick evokes among young Irish girls, she is beloved by the crowd because they relate to her.
• Smurfette Breakout: Introduced as part of The Lads From The Flats, she proved popular enough to be pushed as a solo star, and a Breakout Character for OTT.
• Squick: In a match at Phoenix Wrestling, she produced a puppet to counteract Therapy's William from right under her pyjamas - while mentioning she was Going Commando.
• Testosterone Brigade: Even before cultivating a Lad Ette image, Kazza was beloved among male fans for her beauty and tomboyish Girl Next Door vibes.
• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Character: A small section of fans would have liked to see the 'K-Woww' character used in OTT.
