Memetic Mutation: “It is delicious cake, you must lick it.” Explanation 4chan’s "It is a Delicious Cake, You Must Eat It" meme (also the original Rule 42 according to Know Your Meme) is referenced in the fansub version of episode 9. After Chizuru’s breasts mysteriously shrink to nothing, Nozomu tries to help her show she still has sex appeal to Kouta by saying “If there’s no bread, you just need to eat the cake.”, and then focusing Kouta’s attention on Chizuru’s butt, repeatedly referring to it as “cake” and then uttering the above line while pointing toward where the base of where Chizuru’s tail would be if it were showing. It may or may not be a joke on the fansubbers’ part (the group has been known to reference 4chan/Internet culture in other shows), with a more literal translation of the line would be "It is delicious cake. Lick it for her." So, it's coincidentally close enough to the meme that "You must lick it" is not too much of a stretch.
This may also be the origin of “cake” being used as raunchy slang word for the (usually female) ass.
