• Ass Pull: Yukimi apparently has her very own inner demon which she can call on, even though she's not genetically related to Giff, and it's apparently powerful enough to free the Igarashi siblings and save their demons from Azuma's brainwashing.
• Narm: The mask for Lovekov's Brainwashed and Crazy form looks like she's wearing a towel over her head.
• More Popular Replacement: Azuma fills the same archetype as Akaishi, being a Really 700 Years Old figure aiming to reset humanity. However, he’s been better received than Akaishi due to the actor playing his lines appropriately (rather than going Large Ham at the wrong time) and the fact he is a credible threat to the protagonist, rather than only lasting so long due to them holding the Idiot Ball.
• Padding: The plot line with the pregnant woman is brought up in the middle of several action scenes and seems to be there solely to add another character to the movie and serve as the Early-Bird Cameo scene for Geats.
• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Character: Or form in this case. Many fans were disappointed to see Kamen Rider Igarashi only used to fight Mooks and the final battle instead being between Azuma and Ikki and Vice in their Ultimate and base forms.
• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot: Many fans felt that the plot of Nozomu seeking revenge on Azuma for the deaths of his best friend and parents had a very disappointing payoff, especially after how Birth of Chimera built it up.
