• Complete Monster: JGSDF Captain Risa Fukami is a dangerous combination of incompetence and indifference. An officer belonging to the GA division, Risa was in charge of an educational facility that exploited the abilities of psychic orphans. When the high levels of ESP attracted the attention of the Ant Lords, Risa merely saw the massacre as a failed experiment. Stealing information from the G3 Unit after being assigned to work with them, Risa completes the lethal G4 System and equips suicidal volunteers with it until she can find a way for it to be mass-produced, killing some of her own soldiers in the period of two months. After kidnapping Mana Kazaya, Risa connects her to a machine that absorbs her powers and gives them to the G4 System. Realizing that she had brought the Ant Lords to her base to kill even more people, Risa cowardly uses some of her soldiers as human shields, willing to sacrifice the lives of others even in the face of death.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: The MPD Superintendent General's comment that Shoichi must do the things that he no longer can, a clear allusion to Hiroshi Fujioka's role as Takeshi Hongo/Kamen Rider #1, becomes this when Fujioka returns to play a fighting Hongo proper on multiple occasions as late as 20 years after this movie.
• Nightmare Fuel: the above mentioned Fukami dies a gruesome yet offscreen death at the hands of the surviving Ant Lords,granted she was an ass but still a brutal way to go
  • The G4 System was designed to surpass the G3 System but a number of flaws kept it from being used and we find out later in the film as many found out the hard and horrifiying way...in other words: the A.I. can kill you as what happened to Mizuki.
  • You think that’s bad? we find later that 3 test users died using the suit! makes you feel bad for Mizuki now huh? and to make it even worse: Mizuki is fully aware of it so that he can finally defeat Hikawa.
