- Awesome Music: "Heavy Metal" Is a particularly great song, almost sounding like a house remix of a typical Castlevania level. And the SebastiAn remix almost makes you want to run a marathon...
- Covered Up: Their remix of Simian's "Never Be Alone" is far more iconic than the original.
- Epileptic Trees: Some people believe that the members of Justice actually are Daft Punk in disguise (or rather unmasked). This is mostly due to both duos being French and having suspiciously similar statures◊.
- Fandom Rivalry: 2021 ignited one between the fans of Justice and Justin Bieber of all people, mainly due to the duo issuing a cease-and-desist towards Bieber over his then-released album, also titled Justice, over allegations of plagiarism (specifically of the logo; allegedly, Bieber's creative team had contacted the duo's graphic designer as the album was being made, but then ghosted them and copied their cross-based logo without their permission). Justice fans were livid over the allegations, Bieber fans thought they were overreacting, and the two bases still don't get along.
- Funny Moments: One moment of comic relief in the otherwise dark, intense "Stress" video: A gang commits a car-jacking, and the member in the passenger seat turns on the car radio and we hear "D.A.N.C.E." playing - he immediately starts kicking the radio until it comes loose, then throws it out the window.
- Fridge Brilliance: In "Phantom Part 1.5"; "Aquatic Dance" by Vangelus and then all of the sudden : "Do the D.A.N.C.E, do the D.A.N.C.E!"
- "Ohio" from Audio, Video, Disco seems a bit odd at first...a bunch of random American place names in a song by a French group? But then listen to "Orleans" by David Crosby— a song consisting entirely of French place names, sung by an American singer!
- Ho Yay: As shown in A Cross the Universe and the music video for "Phantom (Part II)", Gaspard and Xavier occasionally kiss before shows.
- Memetic Mutation: "Waters of Nazareth" has been used for a number of remixes and mashups, most notably "Waters of Megalovania".
- Most Wonderful Sound: The ringing in "Newjack".
- Nightmare Fuel:
- The giant, glowing, golden humanoid that appears out of nowhere in the "Civilization" video.
- The music video of "On'n'on".
- The "Stress" video, depicting realistic-looking gang violence in a found footage style, can be fairly disturbing.
- Speaking of Stress, just TRY and listen to it without feeling the slightest bit anxious.
- Sampled Up: Out of the many samples featured on †, the prominent sample featured throughout "Phantom" is from the main theme from Tenebrae.
- Jay-Z sampled the chorus from "D.A.N.C.E." for his song "On to the Next One".
- Signature Song: Phantom Part 2, Genesis or D.A.N.C.E. are most likely their best known tracks, though Waters of Nazareth has a number of fans, perhaps due to the Grand Theft Auto effect (in Grand Theft Auto IV).
- Sophomore Slump: While critical reaction to Audio, Video, Disco, was mostly positive, it was noticeably less lauded than †. Fans have been more harsh towards the album, giving it a below average rating on rateyourmusic. This is almost certainly due to the more rock-influenced sound.
- Sweet Dreams Fuel: The endings of "Let There Be Light" and "Helix. They sound so peaceful and pretty.
- They Changed It, Now It Sucks!: Audio, Video, Disco's drastically different style has alienated some fans, to say the least.
- Vindicated by History: The music video to "Stress" was heavily controversial upon release, especially within the duo's native France for its raw, jarringly realistic depiction of banlieue delinquents going on a violent rampage, earning scorn and even threats of legal action towards the duo (including a successful ban on French television) for just how disturbing it is. Over a decade later, it's hailed as one of the duo's best videos because of how graphic and effectively haunting it is, with music magazine Complex listing it as #2 on their 2017 "The Best Music Videos of the 2000s" list, saying "the images are so arresting that you can't look away for even a second."
