• Fridge Brilliance: Given that Quintin is implied to be the most Book Dumb of the protagonists, it can be surprising to see him call Spanish an easy subject. This makes perfect sense with the later revelation that he possesses a Photographic Memory after being Touched by Vorlons, as high school level Spanish wouldn't require much analysis, meaning that Quintin's ability to instantly remember anything he's paid attention to would make it a cinch for him to memorize words and grammar rules.
• Funny Moments:
  • When Nathan complains about Binny, Jackie asks why he doesn't just "get rid of her" while making a slicing motion across her neck. Nathan and Quintin both stare at her in horror before she specifies that she meant to bribe Binny. While Nathan quickly moves the conversation forward, Quintin is clearly bewildered.
    Quintin: That means bribe?
  • In Episode 44, a bored Arrio asks to drive Nathan's Boring, but Practical car after calling it crappy earlier, leading to this exchange:
    Nathan: Oh, you want to drive the crappy car?
    Arrio: I'm not picky.
    Nathan: Do you have license?
    Arrio: [huge smirk on his face] I know how to drive.
    Nathan: Do you have a license?
    Arrio: I know how to drive.
    Nathan: No.
    Arrio: [annoyed] Ugh…
• Jerkass Woobie: Nathan is the most abrasive and demanding member of the Jupiter-Men, constantly nagging the others to train and prepare while expecting them to be Workaholics like him until they pass out from exhaustion. But he's a teenager saddled with the responsibility of training a group of other teenagers to defend the entire planet from extradimensional threats. Furthermore, his father vanished without warning and the media is dragging Nathan's name through the mud over Daejung's disappearance. Given the sheer amount of pressure he's under, it's hard not to feel for him and see why he's so irritable.
