- Fair for Its Day: The relationship between Terri and Jack is clearly romantic, and is one of the first instances of not just a female geek, but a female Black and Nerdy character, much less as the protagonist. The romantic finale, however, has Jack arrive and triumphantly... hold Terri's hand and take her to dinner. In addition, Jack himself is an average looking Jonathan Pryce, not a sexy James Bond.
