  • Awesome Moments:
    • "No Man's Land": Play your cards right, and Kirk finally overcomes Trelane in a very Star Trek way: He points out how wildly his romanticized caricature or WW1 is historically inaccurate. They tap into the Enterprise's databanks to construct a much more accurate simulacrum of the war. Which is of course a drab, sordid scene full of meaningless death. Trelane agrees to end his game and let everyone go, hopefully finally learning his lesson that war is a horror and not something to be recreated for fun.
    • "Museum Piece": Kirk and co. are visiting a science museum and get trapped in one section as terrorists attack and take hostages. What ensues is scavenging the outdated pieces of technology and Scotty jury-rigging makeshift devices to help break out. Most notably he puts together a "primitive" magnetic accelerator and launches a lance with it to break down a locked door.
  • Complete Monster: Dr. Ies Breddell again. See that page for more details.
  • Even Better Sequel: Everything 25th Anniversary does, this game does it better. You can now control nearly all of the main Enterprise crew, the puzzles in adventure part are better designed, and the writing feels far more inspired thanks to the over-arching plot. The only thing it doesn't improve is the combat portion, but there are no mandatory battles and the game lets you disable even the optional ones.
  • No Problem with Licensed Games: It is considered one of the best Star Trek games to date, along with its predecessor.
