• Fair for Its Day: Jon is initially a bit guarded around Myke's gay roommate Grey, but rapidly warms to him and they hang out a couple of times. For a mid-1980s comic like this, it's surprisingly progressive, even if Grey is a near-textbook Gay Best Friend.
• Heartwarming Moments: In #10, after Winters lays out just why he doesn't like Sable (not least because the latter's latest stunt is making him late to his kid's birthday party), Sable turns up to said party wearing his B. B. Flemm disguise and entertains the kids by reading from one of his books.
