- Accidental Innuendo: Right out of the gate in ver. VILLAINS, Dio says that he "loves coming first" in his first few lines.
- Awesome Art: Some of the designs seamlessly translate JoJo characters into the vastly different yet equally distinctive Disney art style, especially DIO's.
- Awesome Music: The whole point.
- The very first song, Jonathan, Speedwagon, and Zeppeli's, makes "I Just Can't Wait To Be King" of all songs epic, yet it possesses a heartwarming spirit. Sort of like Jonathan himself.
- DIO and his followers' version of "Prince Ali" is widely considered in the comments to be the standout of the whole project. It wasn't even a Villain Song originally.
- The villains' finale, full stop. Pure jazzy crack.
- Evil Is Cool: Many comments on both videos indicate a preference for ''ver. VILLAINS".
- Fan Nickname: "This is America" for Funny Valentine's song, since it's based on "This Is Halloween" and set in an alternate Eagleland.
- Funny Moments:
- Avdol and Polnareff have the line "Shall we urinate together?", a reference to an example of this from canon, but with no context whatsoever. Joseph's "OH MY GOD!" immediately follows.
- Pesci's appearance. His design is based off the Queen of Hearts.
- Kira calling Kawajiri's boss to let them know he'll be late for work the next day... while Kars does air guitar and all the other villains talk over each other. Kira in general during the villains' finale, really.
- Heartwarming Moments:
- The very first song in the project, Jonathan's. Everyone is so happy, even the frog.
- Joseph and Caesar singing "You'll/I'll always be there / beside me/you" when the latter is dying. Also a Tear Jerker.
- The ending of the Stardust Crusaders' song.
''So, farewell, my friends / We have reached the end / Of our long 50-day journey / So, the very greatest group of friends, OK / The very strongest best of friends, alright! / Go! (bork!) / Go! (borkborkbork) / Cru~sa~ders~!- All of the Duwang Gang's song. Everyone is just happy, laid-back, good friends giving the listener a tour of their quirky town.
- All of the Joestar epilogue song. It has a nice little The World Is Just Awesome feel to it.
- Hilarious in Hindsight:
- Both Stardust Crusaders songs are from Aladdin. The Genie in the live-action remake of that movie is memetically considered Aladdin's Stand.
- The ver. HEROES song for Part 5 is "Go the Distance". Tomoaki Maeno, who voiced Squalo in the David Production anime adaptation, covered the same song for the Disney Date Koe no Ouji-sama album series.
- Moe: The Stone Ocean girls look absolutely adorable.
- Most Wonderful Sound:
- Numerous commenters compliment Blackmore's carefully enunciated delivery in the Funny Valentine song.
- Likewise, many consider Doppio's voice to be extremely pleasant to listen too.
- DIO's voice, full stop. He makes an excellent Poor Man's Substitute for Takehito Koyasu, with a theatrical flair.
- Kars' "woah... woah... wo-oah!" in the Pillar Men's song.
- Narm Charm: The source materials are both made of this in very different ways. This crossover embraces both of them.
- Tear Jerker:
- Caesar's death, as usual.
- Gyro's death as well, even with the Lyrical Dissonance.
- Unexpected Character: Was anyone expecting a song from the Halloween Special of an early-2000s cartoon to appear?
- Viewer Gender Confusion: Fans who are not familiar with Steel Ball Run will most likely assume that (the male) Dr. Ferdinand is a woman. It probably doesn't help that the character model used for his appearance is based off of Helga Sinclair.
