• Accidental Innuendo: During Mr. Strausberry's interrogation, Jenny asks the dean about the sticky stuff on his pants. While it turns out it was just orchid seeds, it still sounds like she was referring to something else.
• Adorkable: Jenny and Suzie both qualify, the former since she's a dorky Kid Detective and the latter because she's a girly Gadgeteer Genius.
• Alternative Character Interpretation: Is Matt the gravedigger as innocent as he seems, or is it just an act so Jenny doesn't suspect anything of him?
• Awesome Music: The OST, provided by scntfc, is relaxing, and helps accentuate the nature of Arthurton rather well.
• Rainbow Lens: Suzie secretly being a genius scientist can be seen as being a metaphor for being queer and closeted: she goes through drastic measures to keep her secret and is worried about her family (particularly her dad) finding out about it, among other aspects.
• Squick: CJ admits to Jenny outside Gumboldt Academy that he peed in the water tower, to which Jenny reacts accordingly.
  CJ: "And this is the thanks I get for saving everyone from the mind control chemicals?!"
• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Character: Florence Glatz. For someone who has her own introduction screen and description by Arthur, she has little impact on the plot and only appears in one scene in the Glatz mansion.
• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot: Related to the above, why Florence had classified police documents is never revealed, and no one brings it up after that information is revealed.
