• Alternative Character Interpretation: In "Let's see if my Twitter is popping off", Sonic appears and says to Shadow "My Pussy In Bio" in a reference to the infamous Twitter Bots after Shadow encounters some of them. Was he actually another one of the bots or he was indeed the actual Sonic and was just messing with Shadow?
• Crosses the Line Twice:
  • Jehtt explains the Karma Meter of Shadow the Hedgehog through a 9/11 joke:
    Sonic (Hero mission): Hey, Shadow! Race you to the next Emerald!
    Black Doom (Dark mission): Now hit the second tower.
  • Sonic committing suicide in "Bro, are you flirting with my sister?" after Knuckles threatens to kill him for flirting with Tikal.
    Sonic: TAKE ME SWEET DEATH! [falls into the water. Cut back to a despairing Knuckles as sad music plays]
  • Sonic's List of Transgressions in "I did a little trolling". The only crime he didn't commit was illegal parking.
  • Shadow insists on calling his murder of a GUN soldier a 97th trimester abortion in "I thought you were pro-choice".
    Shadow: I thought you were pro-choice.
    Sonic: Oh no, are you pro-life?
    Shadow: Of course not.
    Sonic: Oh, thank God.
    Shadow: I'm not pro-anything!
    Sonic: What?
    Shadow: I'm anti-life… and anti-choice!
