  • The Ace: The Acord brothers both qualify as this.
    • Lophiile is a skilled producer, songwriter, DJ, drummer and keyboardist, he can write and perform his own vocals if need be and he started learning how to play guitar after joining the band. Not to mention that he's created music in several different genres.
    • Sky is a music college graduate who is equally at home on bass, guitar or even as a vocalist. According to him, he even wrote a full song on Headspace.
  • Disabled Snarker: Michael. Oh so very much.
  • Fandom Rivalry: Actually forced by Rise Records, who had both Issues and WIM signed. Their respective Take That! songs to eachother, "King of Amarillo" and "I've Told You Once" were released on the same day, and it's been implied before that the label were the ones who told them to write the songs in the first place.
  • Growing the Beard: Beautiful Oblivion is regarded as this by fans and critics alike.
  • Handicapped Badass: Michael Bohn has Tourettes' Syndrome. It hasn't stopped him at all; in fact, it actually made him somewhat of an inspirational figure for other people who have the condition.
  • Harsher in Hindsight: During the above rivalry, one line in Woe Is Me's song was "It must be hard to talk shit with a dick in your throat". 6 months later, Tyler came out as bi, meaning that line wasn't a random insult, it was the WIM members trying to out one of their former friends.
  • More Popular Spin Off: To Woe, Is Me. For comparison, their debut Self-Titled Album made the Top 10 on the Billboard 200. Woe, Is Me however? Their debut album hit #16... on the Heatseekers chart. Their second (and final) album actually did manage to enter the Billboard 200... landing at #167.
  • Signature Song: "Stingray Affliction".
  • Unexpected Character:
    • While Fronz wasn't a big surprise, did anyone seriously expect Snow Tha Product to appear on their debut EP?
    • Headspace has only one guest vocalist, which isn't a metal artist or anyone connected to the scene, but rather country singer Jon Langston.
