YMMV / Invasion of the Bunny Snatchers

  • Awesome Art: The cartoon has some pretty fluid and creative animation, not even in spite of the creepiness, but because the art shifts work so well for the surreal horror.
  • Genius Bonus: Nudnik, the planet on which the imposters of Bugs, Elmer, Sam and Daffy were made, is Russian for "boring, pale and shallow", which is indeed what the imposters are thanks to their crude appearance and lack of personality, invoked further by having them just saying their original counterparts' catchphrases on repeat towards the end of the cartoon.
  • Nightmare Fuel: The imposters in general give off a creepy vibe due to how very visibly off they are, but there are specific moments.
    • Daffy's imposter was only as creepy as the others, but then we very abruptly cut to it talking with a synchro-vox mouth with completely dead eyes and it's pretty creepy. What he says is foreboding and only makes it worse:
"But now it's all over... it doesn't matter anymore!"
    • Immediately after Fake Daffy gets blasted from all sides, he walks over to Bugs with the holes in his body while his mouth is animated in uncharacteristic and out-of-sync detail.
    • The Bugs Bunny imposter emerging from the space carrot, who then proceeds to grab a fire emergency axe and approaches Bugs with the intention of killing him. As Bugs is pondering what has happened to the Looney Tunes gang, the imposter taps on his shoulder, and he turns to see it poised to attack, with it saying "What's up, Doc?" in a monotone voice, causing Bugs to run screaming out of his hole and off into the distance just as the imposter swings the axe and destroys his bed.
"You know, this is the scariest part of the picture"
    • The cartoon ends with a rather... unsettling imposter of Porky Pig breaking out of the drum, "stammering" the real Porky's classic line until he gets thankfully kicked out by Bugs, who then puts the genuine Porky in his rightful place. Unlike the other imposters seen during the cartoon, this one looks even creepier as he looks like something that came from a Terry Gilliam film, complete with stiff animation and ungodly massive eyes with tiny pupils.
