- Angst? What Angst?: Selene's birthday party happens right after Catti's death. The latter event is never brought up in the chapter, and the party plays out in fairly typical Birthday Episode fashion.
- Ass Pull: The reveal of Nise Tsuki being Ilulu's real mother doesn't seem to have any real buildup, not to mention the inconsistencies with canon (although, to be fair, the fic is tagged as "Not Canon Compliant" and "lore i just made up").

features animations and illustrations related to the story. - Crosses the Line Twice:
- Ilulu eating Sweetheart's chopped-off arm in Chapter 39.
- Chapter 46 is titled "A Party Where Nobody Dies This Time".
- Funny Moments: Despite the story getting rather dark later on, there are still plenty of funny bits throughout.
- Chapter 3 has a Running Gag in the form of Noelle repeatedly Tempting Fate. Eventually, Kris gets sick of it and shoves a sandwich in her mouth to shut her up.
- Berdly's obsession with "gamer girls".
- Rouxls Kaard's introduction in Chapter 40 has this bit:
"Rules card? Like in a board game?" said SeeU. "That's a dumb name.""Oh, like you're one to talk," Tsumugi retorted."It is spelledeth R-O-U-X-L-S K-A-A-R-D," he said."That's even worse," grimaced Captain Spaceboy as he entered the room, having heard people talking and come to see what the commotion was.- This exchange between Kris and Aubrey in Chapter 47:
Kris: Since when do you care about Spamton?
Aubrey: I don't. I just wanna watch him crash into things.
- Also from Chapter 47, we have Mayu's reaction to hearing about Discord.
Mayu’s face contorted into an expression that was somewhere between disappointment, rage, and complete and utter
bewilderment. “You have got to be kidding me.”
- Squick: Spamton and Kris's relationship can come off as squicky due to the age difference, with Kris being a (most likely underage) teenager and Spamton being in his fourties. Granted, Kris doesn't have a canon age, so they could be eighteen, but still.
- Nightmare Fuel: Considering how dark some of the source material can get, it makes sense that there would be some decidedly disturbing moments in the story.
- Fafnir and Lucoa both get possessed in Chapter 24. During the attempt to undo the possession, a "horrid black liquid" starts oozing from Fafnir's eyes and mouth. Worse yet, his hands turn into the substance.
- Draemon transformations in general seem to be this, with the afflicted gaining Black Eyes of Evil and demonic features. Oliver and Len's transformations are both Face-Monster Turns to boot.
- Speaking of Oliver, this picture from the author's Tumblr has him posing sweetly...while showing off a mouthful of sharp, jagged teeth and staring directly at the viewer. Combined with the normally cute and Animesque artstyle, it's rather reminiscent of something out of a Nightmare Fuel Coloring Book.
