  • Broken Base:
    • The Surreption. It was either a strong followup to a fantastic debut, or it was a case of Sophomore Slump that went way too far into the deathcore realm for its own good.
    • The Level Above Human also got hit with this. Depending on who you ask, it's either the album that redoes The Surreption the right way, or it's a boring, monotonous retread of that same album whose best moments are The Architect of Extinction retreads.
  • Funny Moments: The music video for "Dead Seraphic Forms", made out of video chats with their friends during quarantine. Particularly notable moments include bong rips from Eric Morotti and Amanda Gjelaj, Bryce Butler accidentally knocking over his e-kit, numerous stank faces during the first slam, Matt McGachy's alchemical beer concoction, Alex "Terrible" Shikolai's extensive and impressive nerd cave, Christian Donaldson making snow angels, Jason Keyser raging in a jacuzzi, and Trevor Strnad and Amanda Gjelaj bringing in their cats for additional cameos, plus exaggerated lip-syncing and air-guitaring abound.
  • Signature Song: "Skinned and Fucked" and/or "Invidious". Zigzagged with the former, as they have stopped playing it and pre-The Level Above Human material as of 2019 on supporting slots. Word of God is that, aside from "Skinned and Fucked", they are done playing old material, and even that song will be an intermittent-at-best setlist entry.
  • Win Back the Crowd: While it has its fans, the general consensus regarding The Surreption is that it was a decidedly inferior followup to Surpassing, and Revered was generally regarded as more of the same. The Architect of Extinction, on the other hand, was almost universally loved by the fanbase and managed to reel back in the people who weren't on board with the preceding two releases.
