YMMV / Inch High, Private Eye

• Retroactive Recognition: Jamie Farr did several voices in the show, right about the time he was gaining fame as Cpl. Maxwell Klinger on M*A*S*H.
• The Scrappy: Inch himself has some detractors that find him very annoying. As such some downplay this show's place on the HB ranking due to Inch being the star.
• Shipping: As per the usual for Hanna-Barbera shows, we are limited to subtext but there is reach in the fandom of HB for Gator and Lori. He always tries to be polite and calls her "Miss Lori" even though he can't be much older than her. The episode "High Fashion" has him have a big smile on his face as Lori takes off her robe at the beach and later during the faux-fashion show Gator and Lori enter in one as a bride and groom.
  • Interestingly enough on the official dvd release, the Warner Archive people gave their approval by describing Gator as Lori's "hulking boyfriend" on the back cover. Even though no official connection was ever said on this show.
• The Un-Twist: "The Smugglers" features a whole mystery about trying to figure out what the titular smugglers are smuggling because all their crates are empty. The twist being, the boats themselves were the smuggled items. Having the detectives chase the crates, while the boats themselves were sold illegally.
