- Narm: Dolph Lundgren moves like a geriatric old man whenever he's required to walk or run. Dolph was injured on day 1 of filming, and he needed to finance his divorce proceedings, so The Show Must Go On.
- Sequelitis: While the first film is a trainwreck, the second film is a DTV, In Name Only sequel amounting to little more than a disinterested Dolph Lundgren mumbling lines in a Canadian forest.
- Special Effects Failure:
- The king's castle appears to be made of styrofoam and has no ceiling. His throne room is outdoors.
- A bizarre example: The dragon is too ambitious for a film with this budget and while the model looks decent enough, the scenes were clearly filmed with a low budget camera that make the dragon stick out like a sore thumb due to how it's more detailed than the resolution of the camera itself.
