• Heartwarming Moments:
  • Seeing all the Primarchs grow up into stable, well-adjusted demigods free from their canonical neuroses and personality flaws, well on the road to fully realising the potential that they were denied in canon.
  • In a universe where none of the Primarchs fall to Chaos, friendships between the Primarchs that would've been canonically ended by the Heresy are able to flourish and thrive instead, while bitter enmity is gentled into mutual dislike (that doesn't preclude the ability to work together professionally) at worst.
  • The Emperor viewing the Primarchs as his children. While still something of a stern parental figure, he was almost always present during their childhoods and treated them with genuine care. He even begins to trust them to make their own decisions instead of being a Control Freak, showing just how much the visions of his future self affected him as a person.
• Tear Jerker:
  • Revelation witnessing what his original plans would lead to ten thousand years in the future.
  • Abaddon's sacrifice in the Battle of Ullanor, showing how even with the Imperium becoming much stronger and united than its canon version, not everyone is going to walk out of it alive.
