- Ensemble Dark Horse: Pierre isn't the most talkative or proactive of the counselors, but readers enjoy how his Only Sane Man moments tend to be either heartwarming or have their own blend of humor.
- Ho Yay: Mike and Rudy. It seems that Rudy's lack of interest in the girls at Silver Lake in favour of persuading Mike to run away with him really show just how much he likes him.
