• Adorkable: Bruno, for being a well-meaning but hopelessly naive Momma's Boy who is always picked on. He was also one of the most popular characters with viewers, even rivaling Chicco.
• Awesome Music: The season 1 opening. "Fire Lady" by Christal is a beautiful song that immediately gives 80s music vibes.
• Hollywood Homely: Elias and Tisini, the two "ugly girls" who are considered hideous by the other characters. They are cute at best and average at worst, but wear stereotypically nerdy outfits, and Elias also wears glasses.
• Values Dissonance:
  • Aziz, the black waiter at Sharon's house, acts and talks like a caricature of a black person. While this was normal in the Italian TV of the 80s, his character would be very inappropriate today.
  • Elias sexually assaulting a drunk Daniele while pretending to be Daniele's girlfriend Rossella is Played for Laughs. Then she is excused in-universe because she's a "lonely, insecure girl who just wanted some male attention" and is quickly forgiven even by Rossella in the next scene. By current standards, this would be Double Standard Rape: Female on Male.
