  • Awesome Music: "Cilla Turns" .
  • Funny Moments: In the middle of an otherwise dramatic scene, where Tina is recording her violin for the "Cilla Turns" track and reveals to Ailu that she can hear Cilla's flute playing, Ailu takes this very seriously, stating that Cilla is there in the room with them, communicating with Tina through music. He encourages her to keep playing, and playing with Cilla. The camera pans to the technician sitting beside him in the studio, making a "what the hell is wrong with this dude?" kind of look that is hilarious, despite the otherwise dramatic moment.
    • Cilla hardly ever wears makeup but Tina always does (before her sister's death at least). On the morning when they oversleep Tina can't find her makeup bag and she stops to yell at Cilla that she can't possibly go to school without makeup because without it she looks like a damn corpse. Cilla gives her a hilarious "oh really?" face in return.
  • Narm: A few instances in the movie.
    • Tina defending Cilla from the bullies, thanks to the actress' delivery.
    • Ailu's performance of "Jag saknar dig" at the funeral. Complete with smashing the guitar.
    • When the butterfly first appears on the anniversary of Cilla's death it's cute. When it appears between Tina and Martin as they speak it's symbolism done right. When it appears again inside the house and everyone follows it with their eyes it crosses over into narm.
  • Nightmare Fuel: Cilla appearing to Tina in a dream looking the way she looked after being hit by the car.
  • Values Dissonance: Depending on where you live. Albert, the twins' father, slaps Tina across the face twice (once in the beginning of the film when she causes a scene at the dinner table, once when she shoves Cilla who loses her balance and falls and hits her head). Towards the end of the film he begs Tina for forgiveness, saying that he cannot comprehend how a father could treat his daughters that way. In Sweden slapping your child is considered child abuse and thereby illegal. Depending on where you live though, his actions might not come across as quite so unforgivable as he feels they are.
  • Wangst: The twins are prone to this prior to Cilla's death.
