• Awesome Music: IFSCL has an original soundtrack courtesy of Cinémorphique, who has composed a fair few sick beats to beat XANA to.
  • The Bombastic Tale (of IFSCL): The Main Menu theme as of version 4.2 is every bit as bombastic as its name suggests, being a grand, booming remix of the Code Lyoko theme song that tells you right from the start that you're in for something big.
  • The opening credits for Story Mode is a remix of similar caliber, this time with a more foreboding feel, complete with Ominous Latin Chanting.
  • The music that plays for Chapter 0, "Xanapocalypse", is a slow, somber piano piece with the occasional soft moans of despair. It really drives home the weight of the situation.
• Tear Jerker:
  • In Chapter 0, the entire chapter seems hopeless. Aelita's injured and can't deactivate the tower, Franz's XANA-killer has failed, Odd loses his one diggity dog in the world, William is unconscious and Ulrich cradles his body, and Yumi has gotten stuck in the elevator, and Jeremie's lost all hope, having to launch a more powerful Return to the Past program. Yumi also tells him that she thought of him as a little brother to her.
• Values Dissonance: In the launch version of 4.5.6, Odd in the opening cutscene of Chapter 2 refers to Sissi and her gang as "retards", a still somewhat acceptable term in French when the chapter dialogue was written but a highly offensive ablest slur in English. After English-speaking players explained Immu's faux pas to him, he changed the line in the next version patch.
