- Adorkable: Several of the characters, to varying degrees. Reese's obsession with trashy romance novels, Graves' gothy theatrics, and virtually everything Hayes does comes to mind.
- They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot: Some players were annoyed that despite the beginning of the game implying that Avery would turn into a cat like the rest of the cafe's employees, every route in the game only has them grow only a whisker at most and the only time Avery does turn is a bad ending where we only get to see the start of their transformation.
