YMMV / Human: Fall Flat

Go To

  • Best Level Ever: Castle is where the game opens up, and the multitude of puzzles inside the Castle walls and around it make for an extremely entertaining time with friends or by yourself. This level is also where the puzzle design really begins to shine, with a total of three different ways to get into the Castle walls- launching a rock into the castle wall, opening the front gate, or zip-lining down the mountain.
  • Game-Breaker: The multiplayer capability of the game makes several puzzles far easier to complete, as players can stack themselves onto objects much easier, lift each other up to reach higher objects, and generally make several puzzles completely redundant.
  • Germans Love David Hasselhoff: China absolutely ate up the game, which is reflected in its sales numbers. Up until the end of 2018, it had sold 4 million copies. Since being released there in 2020, the number rose to 25 million. The COVID-19 Pandemic and the social distancing that came with it are credited with the game's success in the country.
  • It's Short, So It Sucks!: The game is incredibly short by contemporary standards, taking anywhere from 4-6 hours for single player. Despite this, there's also multiplayer and the Replay Value of the game's multiple hidden paths.
  • That One Level: Water, due to the wonky controls of the boats. The speedboat is easily the worst offender, with its incredible speed making it nigh impossible to properly control. It also has a lot of odd puzzles and platforming challenges, such as the area at the end of the filtration plant and the dam at the top of the mountain.
  • That One Puzzle: The coal puzzle at the end of Power Plant. Its solution is rather simple: light the boilers on fire and shovel coal into them to get the turbine next to them spinning enough to launch you onto the top of the silo, where you can parkour over to the exit. This is much easier said than done- first off, the truck used to hoard the coal is incredibly wonky to control and can easily take off at high speeds, not helped by the already purposely hard to control nature of Bob. Secondly, the path to get to the coal mine is an absolute nightmare, being a series of sharp turns. While you only need a small amount of coal, you either have to use the truck to guide them over to the boilers or manually drag them two at a time to the boilers- which takes ages, considering you need about ten pieces to set the turbine high enough. Lastly, actually parkouring along is incredibly difficult, and requires incredible precision to do.
