• Harsher in Hindsight:
  • EGM's 2000 video game preview feature which featured the duo featured one bit parodying◊ Evil Dead 2 where Hsu attempts to chainsaw off his evil possessed right hand a la Ash Williams. Not as funny 3 years later when Hsu really did lose his right hand in the comic.
  • Yamamoto Games' claim to being "The most evil video game company in the world" was originally intended to be a silly joke about what an Overly Narrow Superlative the title was back in the 90s and early 2000s. Fast forward to the modern day and the joke might seem lost to readers who deal with real life game companies using such things as microtransactions, key features being locked behind a DLC paywall, Electronic Arts winning the "Worst Company in the World" award several years in a row, and pretty much everything relating to Konami in the New Tens.
