• Tainted by the Preview: Quite a few fans who were previously excited for this book had their enthusiasm deflate when it was revealed that the main character would be a sports reporter and not an actual player on the hockey team, especially since it's the first Choices story to be primarily based around sports. Not helping matters is one of the keywords being "Sexy", which is often used for books with mature sexual content, as this one also turned out to be (despite the initial lack of a 17+ rating, much like the initial release of Roommates With Benefits).
