- Critical Dissonance: The movie was panned by critics and audiences for its humor, low quality VFX and acting, and for its premise being too thin and easily predictable. Fans however, were a bit positive towards it due to the So Bad, It's Good nature of the movie and its overall low quality.
- Hilarious in Hindsight: Dick and Dom in the movie could be seen as predecessors of the Squid Sisters from Splatoon due to having the same Pink/Green themed clothing, the fact that their show's theme song sounds exactly like Splattack makes this even funnier, as well as the titular duo being hosts for a show named "Splatalot".
- Signature Scene: Henry singing "Gonna Be a Rockstar" as well as the 2C4S segments.
- Henry transforming into a dinosaur is often remembered for being one of the worst examples of CGI in films.
- Special Effect Failure: Henry transforming into a T-rex, the thrown slime jar and the slime pit in Too Cool for School are laughably bad, which is made shocking by how the trailers featured far superior CGI.
- Suspiciously Similar Song: The 2 Cool 4 School theme sounds exactly like Splattack! from Splatoon.
- Took the Bad Film Seriously: For all the movie's faults, most people agree that Theo Stevenson did a fantastic job portraying the title character.
