  • Awesome Music: Carl Davis' score for the series. This began his second career of scoring Silent films, some using the cues he used for this series, others with a different composition altogether.
  • Moment of Awesome: Allan Dwan remembers getting threatened by a mercenary sent from the Patents Trust. To prove he meant business, the mercenary fired his pistol at a bunch of cans, missing all. Dawn then fired his pistol, taking all of them down. When some Hired Guns came to his aid, the mercenary took the next train out of California. Shortly after, Dwan made a Take That! film on the incident, adding a different ending where the mercenary gets caught and hanged.
  • Harsher in Hindsight: It is sad to know the filmed interviews were probably the last filmed appearances of many of these people.
  • Values Dissonance:
    • Back in the day, the word “Movie” was an insulting label to anyone involved with moving pictures. Fortunately that no longer applies.
