- Awesome Music: The theme song was preformed by popular country artist LeAnn Rimes and an extended version plays over the credits. There's also her high-powered performance of "Oh Holy Night" in Christmas Wishes and a few other strong songs in the series.
- Just Like You and All These Things from Surprise Party. Trust us when we say it sets the bar for the show's music quality (and the high expectations is probably a contributing factor to Fabulous Fashion Show's failure).
- Bigger from Best Friends Forever, which is as catchy as it is motivating.
- Adaptation Displacement: Newer audiences wouldn't initially know that it's a modern Soft Reboot of an older series involving the original's descendant.
- Broken Base: There's a bit of breakage regarding exactly when the series started going downhill, and whether or not Marvelous Makeover constituted a sufficient recovery, despite the series being completely killed off afterwards.
- Nightmare Fuel: Amy accidentally getting hypnotized in Secret Adventures arguably falls under this.
- Seasonal Rot: Episodes 5 and 6 were radically different from the original four. The videos started featuring two stories instead of one, the animation was a lot more pale, the whole voice cast was replaced, plots became more contrived and several characters were mysteriously retired.
- They Changed It, Now It Sucks!: Fans of the classic design often loathe the modern update.
