• Heartwarming in Hindsight: Near the end, when Winnifred thinks the potion can't be completed because the last ingredient is "Frightful Friends" and the Sandersons don't have any friends, Sarah insists "..we're friends!" and Winnie disdainfully retorts "No, we're sisters. I have to like you." Hocus Pocus 2, released seven years after the stage show's premiere, reveals that Winnie does indeed really love her sisters, and she willingly gives up ultimate power and her life rather than lose them.
• Spiritual Successor: To the Halloween Villain Mix and Mingle, and several other Disney Villains focused shows. While the Sanderson Sisters are the undisputed stars, the show still ends with an assortment of Disney Villains getting down on stage.
