• Jerkass Woobie: Thane may be a passive-aggressive, sarcastic jerk, but one can't help but relate to him. Some of his children’s books were turned down for not being in the demographic, his boss is a rude, selfish harpy, and his neighbor keeps bothering him with loud music.
• Wangst: Thane’s complaining can get pretty annoying to listen to in some scenes.
